1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform.
- By registering, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
- Employers must be legally registered businesses or individuals authorised to hire.
2. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- One mobile number may be associated with only one account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Terms for Workers
- Creating an account and browsing jobs on HireTak is completely free.
- You must never pay any joining fee or registration fee to any employer through HireTak. If asked, please report it immediately.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, resume, and qualifications.
- Submitting false information may result in account suspension.
- HireTak does not guarantee employment or a specific number of job offers.
- KYC verification is required to unlock full platform features.
4. Terms for Employers
- Employers may post jobs on HireTak under applicable paid or free plans.
- Employers are strictly prohibited from charging workers any joining fee, registration fee, or any other fee as a condition of employment. Violation will result in immediate account suspension and blacklisting.
- Job listings must be genuine, accurate, and not misleading.
- Employers may not use worker contact details for purposes outside of hiring.
- Plans and credit purchases are subject to our Payment Policy.
- HireTak is not a party to any employment contract between employers and workers.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Post fake, fraudulent, or misleading job listings
- Collect, scrape, or harvest user data from the platform
- Use the platform for spam, phishing, or harassment
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
- Use the platform for any illegal activity
- Impersonate another person or company
- Charge workers any fee for placement or employment
Violations may result in permanent account ban and legal action.
6. Payments & Refunds
- All payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
- Plan purchases and credit purchases are non-refundable once activated, except where required by law.
- If a technical error results in a duplicate charge, contact us within 7 days for a refund.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
- HireTak reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
7. User Content
- You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, profiles, job posts).
- By uploading content, you grant HireTak a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and process it for the purpose of operating the platform.
- You are solely responsible for the content you post.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, platform design, source code, and content created by HireTak are the exclusive property of HireTak and are protected under Indian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
The name "HireTak" and logo are registered trademarks. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
- HireTak is a marketplace that connects workers and employers. We are not an employer or employment agency.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of job listings or worker profiles.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from employment relationships formed through the platform.
- Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user in the 3 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time without notice if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account by contacting us at hello@hiretak.com. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through mediation before legal proceedings.
